If you are taking one of the new weight medications, thinking about asking for one, or someone online is trying to sell you one, there are things you should know before you decide. Some of them are printed right on the FDA label and almost nobody brings them up.

Answer nine quick questions and I will build you a list to take to your own doctor. You can print it and put it in your bag.

So you know where I stand: I do not prescribe these medications, I do not sell them, and I do not take money from anyone who makes or sells them. I am a family doctor and this is the list I would want my own patient walking in with.
