With this technique, you enter the room with calma, sound warm and direct, and say it without losing the relationship you are protecting.
Hi. I'm Dr. Amanda Perez, a family physician. I had to learn fast how to use my own voice: with senior specialists who talked over me, with patients who walked in ready to fight, and then, in the same breath, switch gears and bring that patient back onto my side.
Over 30,000 patient encounters later, I saw the pattern.
It is not louder. It is not colder. And it is not what everyone teaches.
Four nights, I show you how it works with your mother, your boss, and your sister, in English and Spanish.
Monday, September 28 through Thursday, October 1, at 7pm Central. Live on Zoom, 45 minutes a night. $47.
At some point, every woman in our families hits the same wall.
You don't need another book.
You don't need to be tougher.
And you definitely don't need to cut anybody off.
You need the sentence.
You need to know what to do when she pushes back.
And you need a plan for the guilt that shows up two days later.
That's where I come in.
Those books were written for a woman who has to say no to one person. You are saying no to your whole family at once.
Four nights, 45 minutes each, and you leave every one with something written down:
Short on purpose. You have a life.
Think warm no… with a script in both languages.
This is for you if:
If you're done rehearsing in the car and ready to say it to her face, you're in the right place.
This is not a way to cut your family off, not a class about being tougher, and not medical or mental health care. It is education from a physician. If saying no at home is not safe for you, please do not take this challenge. Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline, 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788 first. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
All four nights live, replays through Sunday, October 4, and every script in English and Spanish. Plus your practice partner, a private chat that helps you find your words and then plays your mother so you can rehearse, yours for 60 days. $47 comes off Permiso Protocol for 72 hours after the last night.
Everything in the challenge, plus a private Telegram group with me for the whole week. Bring the real conversation. You post your sentence, I tell you what she will say back, you say it again, in your own time.
Camera on or off, whatever you need. Show up for all four nights and if it was not worth it, email me within 7 days of the last night and I will send it back. That goes for both seats.
I could run a clinic and could not tell my own mother no.
I'm a family physician licensed in Illinois and board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. I have spent years across the desk from women whose bloodwork was perfect and whose lives were not.
I believe in:
I am in this culture, not observing it. This is my family too.
This is the class I built because I needed it.
“Your mother asks you for something. And you say no. One sentence. Warm. No explaining, no apologizing.”
She is a little put out. You love her anyway. You get off the phone, you make coffee, and you are completely fine.
“You do not think about it Monday. You do not draft a text in the shower on Tuesday.”
You are not short with your husband on Wednesday about something he did not do.
“She is not calmer than you and she is not stronger than you.”
She knows a few things you were never taught, and they fit inside four short nights.
Four nights, Monday, September 28 through Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7:00pm Central each night. Live on Zoom. Camera on or off, whatever you need. Each night's replay goes up the same evening and stays up through Sunday, October 4.
No, and that is on purpose. This is education from a physician. I am not your doctor in this challenge, nothing in it is a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and attending does not create a physician-patient relationship. Keep your own doctor for your own care, and bring her the good questions you will have afterward.
No, and I will tell you why in the room. Giving you specific advice about your body without knowing your history or your medications would be a guess, and you deserve better than a guess from a stranger on a webinar. What I will do is help you word the question for your own doctor, which is more useful than it sounds.
No. The challenge is taught in English. Every script comes in both languages, because most of us need one language for work and a different one for our mother.
The replays go up the same evening and stay up through Sunday, October 4. Come live for as many as you can, though. The chat is half of it, and saying your sentence out loud in a room full of women who are doing the same thing is most of the reason it works.
A private chat that comes with your seat. It helps you find your words for one conversation, then plays the other side, your mother, your boss, your sister, so you can rehearse before you say it for real. Your personal link arrives in your welcome email and works for 60 days. It is practice and education, not therapy or medical care, and it never gives medical advice.
A private Telegram group with me for the whole week, September 28 through October 4. You post the real conversation, the one you are dreading. I answer in batches, in the morning and after each night's call. Your sentence, what she is likely to say back, and what to say then. No extra hour to show up for, and cameras never come into it.
Yes. Attend the four nights live, or watch the replays in full while they are up, and if it was not worth what you paid, email me within 7 days of the last night and I will send it back. No form and no explanation needed. The full terms are in the refund policy.
There is an offer on the last night, and I am telling you now so it is not a surprise. The four nights before it are a real challenge with real scripts, and they stand on their own whether or not you buy anything.
If you enroll in Permiso Protocol within 72 hours of the end of the last night, your $47 comes off whatever the enrollment price is at that time. I take it off on my end, so there is nothing for you to claim or remember.
Warm, direct, and still in the family.
Four nights, live, with a physician, and a little bit of orange.
Sept 28 to Oct 1, 7pm CT · from $47
